Job Description:
Globe Trucking LLC is currently seeking experienced and dedicated commercial truck drivers to join our team. As a commercial truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to assigned locations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before, during, and after each trip.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and mileage.
• Comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and load is balanced.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to address any concerns or changes in schedule.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary.
• Report any accidents, mechanical issues, or delays promptly.
Qualifications:
• Valid CDL (Class A) license.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial truck driving.
• Ability to operate large vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and work in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
