Who You Are:
You are competitive, have a strong work ethic, a desire to learn and a positive attitude. The expertise you will bring includes:
- Create, build, and nurture an active client list consistent with the company’s prime demographic
- Conduct business development activities independently and as assigned by management
- Meet and exceed annual sales goals and objectives
- Create marketing and selling campaigns and emails within Salesforce
- Assist walk-in clients and conduct store tours as requested when in gallery
- Research and thoroughly understand the key selling points for each inventory item
- Initiate and close sales in a timely, effective fashion
- Assist in locating and sourcing new and out-of-stock inventory
- Coordinate all shipping instructions with client to ensure proper delivery and setup
- Set up and break down displays when at shows
- Update and maintain client and inventory databases
Preference towards candidates who have local connections and a decent book of business related to selling Fine Art, Antiques and/or Jewelry.
Other skills you will bring to M.S. Rau:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in a high-end clientele environment
- Being professional, open, approachable, and knowledgeable to clients and staff
- Being enthusiastic, optimistic, and motivated on a daily basis
- Travel required several times a year to clients’ homes as well as antique/fine art shows
- Travel required to the gallery in New Orleans for training , etc.

Compensation and Hours
Compensation is earned through a combination of base+ commission and a generous annual bonus plan. Remote Sales Consultants will be expected to work a minimum 40 hours/5 days a week.
