The Product Manager position is responsible for multiple aspects of product management. Descriptions of new features and user experience in the RouteSmart products will be envisioned and created in this role. This person will use the Agile development process to create stories for potential development items. In addition to defining features, this role will participate in the testing and quality assurance of features as they are developed. This role will require product management discipline over some features and on occasion custom development efforts. Participation in the prioritization of features in the product lines will be another aspect of this role. Communication within the organization on planned features and timeline projections for features is an important aspect of this position.
The starting salary for this position is anticipated to be in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year. At RouteSmart Technologies, Inc., we offer various base pay ranges depending on the work location within the US. Please note that base pay may differ based on your level of experience.

RequirementsEssential Duties & Responsibilities - Develop stories in the Agile development process for features and enhancements in the RouteSmart products
- Assist in the prioritization of tasks to be included in future releases of RouteSmart products
- Assist in the communication within the company on product direction and progress towards releases
- On certain specific features or custom development efforts serve in a product management role
- Assist in validating bugs as reported by clients and client services
- Provide testing and quality assurance as new features and bug corrections are developed
- Assist in the processes on bug tracking and enhancement requests with client services
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements - Minimum of 2 years' experience in product management or quality assurance or demonstrated strong knowledge of ArcGIS Pro.
- Strong ability to communicate with clients in a non-technical manner as well as communicate technically with software developers
- Ability to work with no/little direct supervision
- Minimal travel as required
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills - verbal and written
Education & Experience - Bachelor's degree in related area such as: GIS/Business
- Understanding of the Agile development process preferred
- Experience with GIS software
