Position Overview:
As a Senior Consumer Engagement Strategist, you will be responsible for crafting and executing comprehensive strategies that guide users towards desired behavior changes, driving growth and ongoing engagement. Your work will be grounded in behavioral science and design, ensuring that our digital health solutions are both effective and user-friendly. You will oversee end-to-end experiences, both within our product and through external digital marketing channels, to ensure we drive action and deliver value. This role involves high level strategic ideation as well as rolling up your sleeves to Additionally, you will serve as a subject matter expert for internal and external, executive-level communications, effectively coordinating with stakeholders to drive outcomes.
What you’ll do:
Strategy & content development
- Lead the development and execution of user lifecycle marketing strategies that leverage behavioral science to drive user engagement and behavior change, both within the product content and through digital channels
- Creative brainstorming, copywriting, implementation, execution and ongoing optimization for all user-facing channels
- Source relevant articles from our content partner (WebMD Ignite FKA Healthwise) to deliver to a targeted cohort of users based on defined clinical, demographic, and behavioral data
- Elevate the user journey through proactive testing roadmaps, enhanced automation, active management and delivery, and full utilization of our Iterable suite – ensuring that all touchpoints are optimized to drive action and deliver value for our end users, b.well, and our clients.
Configuration and execution
- Work alongside engineering and data teams to determine data requirements and set up pipelines needed to deliver personalized campaigns and monitor success.
- Build templates and configure data for in-app content, email, push, and SMS campaigns
- Execute multi-channel marketing strategy using blast, triggered, and journeys within our marketing automation technology and content management system
Performance Tracking
- Define and track OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure the success of engagement strategies and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Conduct AB and multivariate testing and analysis on content performance, communicate results effectively and draw actionable conclusions.
- Proactively research and implement the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
- Regularly analyze and report on program performance to stakeholders, sharing actionable insights to refine strategies and drive results
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive outcomes
- Strong communication skills without a fear of over communication. This role will require understanding and evaluation of campaign metrics, distributing information across teams for effective collaboration and cross-functional coordination with internal and external contributors.
Desired Experience:
- 6+ years experience in developing and executing digital engagement strategies within the healthcare or digital health sector.
- Demonstrated ability to work at a strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (creating and optimizing content, managing campaign execution, analyzing traffic data and solving problems).
- Strong background in behavioral science and design, with the ability to apply these principles to drive behavior change.
- Experience in managing digital marketing channels, including email, push notifications, and SMS, to drive user engagement.
- Solid understanding of HIPAA, TCPA, FCC, and CAN-SPAM regulations to ensure precise, legally-sound end-user engagement.
- Proficiency working in multi-channel engagement systems (experience with Iterable is a plus!).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in advocating in front of clients and serving as a subject matter expert.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define and track performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
- Previous experience in a start up environment preferred
The target salary range for this position is $115,000 - $180,000 annually, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
