Role Overview:Trellix is seeking an Inside Distribution Channel Account Manager to help manage our Ingram Micro and Carahsoft business.
About The Job- Work with Distribution Account Manager to establish, manage and maintain relationships with Distributors (Ingram Micro and Carahsoft) - at executive, management, product manager and sales representative level.
- Develop and implement a strategic account plan for each distributor with special focus on business.
- Drive pro-active strategic business & marketing planning.
- Ensure the full benefits of the Trellix portfolio are understood through key communications and training activities.
- Manage weekly forecasting and opportunity tracking to provide realistic weekly shipments forecast.
- Successfully apply business intelligence and understand how markets and competitors will influence the selling of Trellix products and services.
- Ensure all distributors are aligned to the Distribution Partner Program in terms of target achievement, partner recruitment and utilization of business development funds and also hold the minimum level of inventory required on a quarterly basis to achieve sales goals.
- There will be some travel required.
About You- A proven track record in strategic selling and account management and deep insight into the IT industry.
- Bachelor degree or commercial training in business administration, information technology or similar subjects are preferred, but not a must.
- Proven track record of sales experience, ideally in a Distribution/Channel environment.
- Very strong sales attitude, ability to be flexible and creative in dealing with customers.
- The ability to identify key decision makers and build and maintain relationships across all levels of an organization.
- Understanding and in-depth knowledge of products and services, industry trends, and competition.
- You are a strong team player who loves bringing out the best of cross-functional and diverse teams.
This position is paid (in part) on a commission basis. The Base Pay Range is $81,000 - $108,000. The On Target Earnings (OTE) Range (base pay plus on target commission) is $136,000 - $180,000. Actual base pay within the Base Pay Range and actual OTE within the OTE Range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
