Specific Responsibilities
The Senior Benefits Analyst is responsible for analyzing, administering, and supporting the company's employee benefits programs. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting benefits research, and making recommendations for program improvements. The Senior Benefits Analyst will work closely with HR, finance, and external vendors to deliver high-quality benefits services to employees.
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
- Conduct benefits research and analysis to support program development and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits.
- Develop and implement benefits communication and education materials.
- Provide advanced-level support to employees regarding benefits inquiries and issues and coordinate resolutions for issues.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless benefits administration.
- Monitor and analyze benefits trends and suggest for program enhancements.
- Prepare and maintain benefits-related reports and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Math, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related field.
- Advanced-level understanding of and experience with benefits compliance and regulations.
- Extensive experience working with benefits vendors and third-party administrators.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Advanced-level knowledge of benefits administration systems and software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
