Compensation: $110,500 - $135,350 (DOE) + Bonus & Benefits
The Company: A well-established, national retailer is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its high-performing Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The Role: The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in forecasting, long-term planning, reporting, and strategic financial analysis to support the Finance department and senior leadership. This role requires strong financial modeling skills, the ability to work with ambiguity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have experience collaborating with stakeholders across an organization and providing meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the weekly forecasting process, analyzing key P&L components (sales, gross margin, inventory, etc.)

Partner with business units to identify financial trends, variances, and key drivers to provide insights for decision-making

Assist with the annual budgeting and long-term planning processes, helping to set financial targets and build forecasts

Communicate key updates to business partners, generate high-level summaries, and explain financial variances

Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, including analysis of business performance, inventory trends, and balance sheet data

Support Investor Relations and executive leadership with analytical insights and board-level financial discussions

Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business strategy and operational improvements
Qualifications:

4-5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis (retail industry experience preferred but not required)

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CFA or MBA a plus)

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving

Experience with financial systems and applications (PowerBI, Hyperion, MicroStrategy, Peoplesoft Financials, etc.)

Proficiency in Excel (advanced modeling) and PowerPoint

Ability to synthesize large data sets and translate findings into actionable insights

Strong communication and business partnering skills-ability to collaborate across teams and present to leadership

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and taking ownership of projects with minimal oversight
