Looking to hire unarmed security guards for Hotel shift 10pm to 6am part time or full time Monday through Sunday. Security guard should have one year experience.
Must be able to stay awake and conduct hourly foot patrols. Work a flexible schedule which may include holidays, evenings, and weekends.
Must be able to use the application SilverTrac.
Work Duties:
1. Monitor guests and visitors to ensure the safety and security of the hotel environment.
2. Respond to emergency situations. Check for suspicious people or activities on the property.
3. Patrol the hotel premises (both interior and exterior).
4. Check the parking area and ensure there are no unauthorized vehicles, vagrants, trespassers, or solicitors.
5. Ensure all hotel doors are locked and that all rooms are properly secured.
6. Monitor who enters and leaves the hotel.
7. Able to handle an electronic patrol system for patrol and reporting purposes.
8. Become familiar with key locations such as fire and emergency exits, and be prepared to assist during an emergency.
9. Call the police or fire department during emergencies.
10. Report suspicious activities - Report all suspicious events to onsite managers and take immediate actions to resolve or correct the issues.
11. Must be courteous, friendly, and professional at all times.
12. This job entails prolonged walking. Must be physically fit as Foot Patrolling and Standing and public relations is part of the job duties.
13. Must be able to conduct hourly foot patrols and scan the QR codes throughout the property.
14. Remove and escort trespassers from the property such as vagrants and homeless people if needed.
15. Complete the required security reports on the SilverTrac application.
Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legal to work in the U.S.
• Have a working social security card.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass a drug test.
• Have a current Guard Card license.
