Your Role As an After-School Soccer Coach, you’ll lead engaging soccer classes for students in grades K-5 at various elementary schools. You’ll be responsible for creating a fun and supportive environment where kids can learn, play, and thrive. Key Responsibilities Class Management Energize and manage classes of 8-16 enthusiastic students aged 5-10. Teach soccer using provided lesson plans that keep kids engaged. Training & Preparation Participate in a two-day training session to get you up to speed with our program. Transport and set up soccer equipment for each class. Administrative Tasks Take attendance and manage student sign-in/out procedures. Foster positive communication with parents and school staff. Provide constructive feedback on each student’s progress. Capture the Fun Snap photos of kids in action during sessions to showcase their progress! What We’re Looking For Must be at least 19 years old. At least a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in teaching or playing soccer is preferred, but not required. Ability to work independently and within a small team. A passion for working with children and effective classroom management skills. Flexibility, reliability, punctuality, and a professional, enthusiastic approach. Strong communication skills and a resilient, positive attitude. Reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula. Willingness to undergo a background check and be fully vaccinated. Locations & Schedule Classes are held at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. Classes run for 1 - 1.5 hours, starting between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work two or more days per week with a maximum of 2-5 hours weekly. Ready to Make an Impact?
