Job DescriptionUX Researcher IV Remote or Hybrid
Summary: We are seeking an experienced UX Researcher to join our team, supporting the execution of research studies for VR/MR games. As a UX Researcher on our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with researchers, designers, PMs, and engineers to identify, define, and deliver meaningful products into the world.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute research roadmaps
- Lead various research studies throughout all phases of the product development cycle
- Contribute to product strategy, execution, and go-to-market plan
- Manage research vendors to augment the work of the research team.
Requirements: - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with data and utilizing numbers to define and support hypotheses
- Experience with storytelling to get traction with various audiences
- Ability to use a VR headset for work
- Located in the Seattle area, with ability to utilize onsite UX labs on occasion (most work can be performed remotely)
Minimum Qualifications: - 8 + years of experience moderating user research sessions and turning qualitative data into actionable insights
- Experience with all aspects of research execution, including planning, participant recruitment, moderation, data analysis, writing reports, and presenting insights to stakeholders
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, HCI, or related field
- Passion for video games and/or VR
Preferred Qualifications: - Video game user research experience
- VR user research experience
- Education and experience with survey writing and analysis
- Experience analyzing quantitative data
Pay range is $71 - $76 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
