Since our start in 2020 at a single farmers market selling frozen meat pies, we’ve grown to seven bustling markets by 2024. Expanding into frozen products and baked goods has been an exciting journey of learning and growth. We’re honest about it—we don’t have all the answers and are still discovering. We’re seeking a passionate, hard-working, and punctual individual to join our kitchen team in North Hollywood (CA 91605) and grow with us!
If you have bakery, restaurant/commercial kitchen experience, and you’re excited to contribute to our collective learning while earning a spot in our “founding member club,” we’d love to hear from you. This part-time role (up to $18.00/hr) has the potential to grow into a salaried position with overtime and benefits for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
We are a small team sharing all responsibilities together, duties include:
- Follow standardized recipes, and execute all aspects of food preparation with accuracy, organization, and efficiency
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, workstations, and equipment during the shift
- Assemble and package products with efficiency and attention to detail
- Unloading and storing deliveries
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Other reasonably assigned duties/tasks/projects as directed by the shift lead
Requirements
- 1-2 years of bakery/restaurant/commercial kitchen experience.
- Valid Food Handler’s Certificate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks
- Consistent ability to follow instructions accurately
- Commitment to maintaining high standards during production
- Physical capability to stand, walk, lift up to 30 pounds, and push/pull loads up to 50 pounds
