OverviewHR Coordinator provides first line advice and services including but not limited to: recruitment, employee life cycle, policies, performance management, training and day to day HR administrative tasks. In this role you will be covering European employees' population across six countries but with a strong focus on UK and the Netherlands as required. You will assist the HR Operations, Payroll and HRIS Teams in ensuring seamless, integrated, efficient high-volume HR activities services are provided to all employees and managers, enabling regional, global consistency and economy of scale.
This is a full-time permanent position (37.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday), working from our Hillcrest site which is in Belton, just outside Loughborough.
ResponsibilitiesHere's what you'll be doing:
1. Administrative Ace:
- Handle various administrative tasks, from promotions and transfers to new starter paperwork.
- Deliver a warm welcome to new team members through our onboarding process.
2. Absence Management:
- Assist with absence management as instructed, including data entry and sickness reporting for all European sites.
- Collaborate with line managers to reduce absence levels and keep our teams thriving.
3. Policy Champion:
- Offer advice on Inotiv's global and local policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Work closely with leaders, employees and peers to ensure compliance and best practices.
4. Be one of our HR Superheroes:
- Be the go-to person for HR admin and HR queries across our 5 European countries.
- Provide top-notch support to our payroll team, ensuring accurate monthly payroll processing.
5. Support Extraordinaire:
- Provide project support and any other ad hoc tasks as directed by HR colleagues
- Help out with investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievance meetings, ensuring fairness and professionalism.
6. Innovate and Improve:
- Contribute to the evolution of our policies and procedures for legal compliance and efficiency.
- Keep an eye on HR metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
7. Team Player:
- Provide general administrative support to our HR Director, HR business partner, and the HR team.
- Balance building great relationships with managing multiple stakeholders and departmental demands.

Qualifications- 2+ years of experience in a Coordinator role.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- A degree in human resources or a relevant field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in delivering operational HR activities in the UK and at least one of the following countries: Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Germany, or France.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to apply policies fairly and ethically.
- A forward-thinking and progressive mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills.
