At JAK Logistics, we are seeking one full time permanent Class A team driver with doubles endorsements for our dedicated Sidney, NE bump run. This run completes three loops from the Tracy, CA FedEx hub to Sidney, NE to meet a bump team where you will swap trailers and return back to Tracy. The next week is a two turn week then back to a three turn week and so on and so forth. During the entirety of winter, we run to Tucumcari, NM. No owner operators, only company drivers. You must have doubles experience and more than one year of verifiable tractor trailer experience. The truck is parked in the Sacramento hub for truck maintenance purposes so we prefer for the driver to live in the Sacramento area, but is not a dealbreaker if you live in the Tracy area. This is not a local position. This is a full time TEAM position where you will be home weekly. Driver(s) must be tech savvy enough to complete monthly online training and the new hire onboarding process, which can all be done from any smartphone. Pay:

This position needs to be filled immediately. If you are currently active with FedEx and can start ASAP then a $1,500 sign on bonus is available to you.
Weekly pay with direct deposit paid every Friday.
Detention time paid after three hours when there is detention time.
Monthly cell phone reimbursement available.

Requirements:

Doubles / Triples endorsement required. No Hazmat required.
Minimum of 1 year of tractor trailer experience required.
You must be dependable and ready to show up every week, following FedEx and company policies.

More details:

Your run has a 12 speed automatic 2024 Freightliner with refrigerator, microwave, power inverter, and premium mattress. We have a Ryder maintenance program so our fleet stays maintained. If there is a breakdown on the highway, road service is just a call away. If the truck can’t be repaired then a subunit will be brought out to you, minimizing down time.
