At JAK Logistics, we are seeking one full time temporary Class A team driver with doubles endorsements for our dedicated Tracy, CA to Orlando, FL run for an undetermined amount of time, possibly until the spring. You would then possibly be on a run such as Tracy, CA to Tucumcari, NM. No owner operators, only company drivers. You must have doubles experience and more than one year of verifiable tractor trailer experience. This temporary full time Orlando position leaves Wednesday and returns on Sunday. You will temporarily run Orlando for an undetermined amount of time, then possibly be on a run such as Tucumcari. It's ok for the driver to live in the Sacramento area or anywhere near Tracy as the truck can be parked in Sacramento or the Tracy hub. This is not a local position, this is a temporary TEAM position where you will be home weekly. Driver(s) must be tech savvy enough to complete monthly online training and the new hire onboarding process, which can all be done from any smartphone. Pay:

Weekly pay with direct deposit paid every Friday.
Detention time paid when there is detention time.
Monthly cell phone reimbursement available.

Requirements:

Doubles / Triples endorsement required. No Hazmat required.
Minimum of 1 year of tractor trailer experience required.
You must be dependable and ready to show up every week, following FedEx and company policies.

More details:

Your run has a 12 speed automatic 2024 Freightliner with refrigerator, microwave, power inverter, and premium mattress. We have a Ryder maintenance program so our fleet stays maintained. If there is a breakdown on the highway, road service is just a call away. If the truck can’t be repaired then a subunit will be brought out to you, minimizing down time.
