Job Description:
As a Lead Line Cook at Sons of Liberty Alehouse , you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to order in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the timely preparation of dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Your role will require attention to detail, excellent multitasking abilities, and a passion for cooking.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and tools.
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
• Monitor food stock and ensure proper inventory levels.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including sanitation standards.
• Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Communicate effectively with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
