We are hiring, and all LBT job applications must be submitted online through our career's website.Thank you for your understanding.Under the direction of the Executive Director/Vice President (ED/VP) of Organizational Development and Administration (ODA), the ODA Analyst (Analyst) will support the ED/VP of ODA and its five divisions by enhancing the department's capabilities to collect and analyze data, craft comprehensive reports, discern pivotal trends, and provide analytical insight, that supports decision-making processes within ODA. The ODA department is comprised of Environmental Health and Safety; Human Resources; Risk; Talent Acquisition and Training and Development.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data with other business systems and processes
- Research with industry trends and best practices in analytics and continuously seek opportunities to improve data quality and reporting capabilities
- Collect and compile data from HRIS and operational platforms/systems
- Effectively present complex data to stakeholders at all levels
- Support stakeholders with data-driven recommendations i.e. workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention strategies
- Facilitate the development of the department budget and perform in-depth budget analysis
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the department and divisions
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and execute special projects
- Identify new performance indicators that will be used to enhance and report on the performance of the department
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:- A bachelor's degree in business administration, statistics, data science, or related field.
- Three (3) years of related work experience
Salary Range: $69,235- $93,467 per year (Depending on Qualifications)Actual compensation packages consider a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and agency needs. At Long Beach Transit compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each role and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range.
