The Custom Silicon Management Group provides critical custom silicons for all Apple products including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, and Mac. We are looking for a remarkable Engineering Program Manager to work closely with multiple Engineering teams who are focused on the development of the key technologies that enable new features for Apple’s products. You will be the driving force leading Silicon roadmap planning and being the gatekeeper for all new Custom Silicon. You will be the voice of the Silicon needs within and outside our team, helping keep the focus on answering key product requirements.
DescriptionA successful candidate will help set strategy, execute on schedule and be responsible for managing/communicating Custom Silicon roadmap for all Apple Products. Major responsibilities Include: Distill and prioritize various Custom Silicon requests. Manage preparation and execution of Custom Silicon justification. Ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication. Understand and communicate complex, technical/engineering issues. Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and program issues quickly and efficiently. Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams and ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication. Help deliver executive communication/presentations and drive the decision-making process. Maintain Silicon Roadmap Planning Database. Improve the system: look for patterns, offer best practices and implement change.
- BS + 10 years relevant experience
- Ability to travel internationally
- Experience with analog/digital design and development flows
Preferred Qualifications- 2+ years of technical Program or Project Management experience.
- Master's Degree preferred
- Experience working with teams of diverse technical backgrounds and quickly learning from them
- Extensive experience with large cross-functional teams
- Ability to connect, network and influence others within a large product organization
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
- Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
Pay & Benefits- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
