The Privacy & Law Enforcement Team is a team of dedicated professionals within Apple legal department who manage and respond to all legal requests received from law enforcement agencies globally, including subpoenas, court orders and search warrants. The team also responds to emergency requests globally on a 24/7 basis. The Systems Manager will be responsible for developing and managing all the technical solutions used by these professionals to respond to law enforcement requests, including the newly launched web portal for law enforcement agencies.
Description- Design, develop and drive the adoption of new or enhanced software products/tools to manage the processing of law enforcement requests. - Manage & resolve (debug) production and performance issues of software products including web portal - communicate with users, coordinate troubleshooting efforts among teams. - Conduct requirements analysis, design, build, testing, end-user training, and system rollouts leveraging project management skills. - Use reporting tools such as Tableau and Business Objects to develop reporting solutions to fulfill Government Information Requests Transparency Reports. - Manage day-to-day operations by coordinating directly with cross-functional groups to ensure the best possible user experience. - Coordinate all facets of new system releases including user acceptance testing, training, and documentation. - Own and manage cross functional projects from ideation to completion, ensure project is completed on time, in scope, with business requirements delivered.
- Experience with Cloud Computing platforms like Amazon AWS, Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with HTML, XML, JavaScript.
- Knowledge of task management solutions (ServiceNow, JIRA, Wrike, etc.).
- Awareness of multiple API technologies (JSON, ProtoBuf, REST, RPC, XML, etc.).
- Proficiency in Software development Life Cycles and reporting tools such as Business Objects and Tableau.
- MS or BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Science, Statistics or a related field OR equivalent practical experience in Software or Data Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Ability to forge trusting relationships and work globally as a member of a cross functional, geographically diverse team.
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
Pay & Benefits- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
