DescriptionAs the Mail Intelligence Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers dedicated to bringing intelligence to Apple Mail across our platforms. Your leadership will guide the development of features that leverage machine learning to create a smarter, more intuitive Mail experience. You will collaborate with teams across Apple to integrate Apple Intelligence, enhance Mail Search, and pioneer new capabilities in the app. This role requires both hands-on technical management and strategic vision to push the boundaries of what the Mail app can do: - Lead and mentor the Mail Intelligence engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including machine learning, project management, and design, to define and implement intelligent features. - Oversee the integration of new technologies into the Mail app, driving improvements in areas like search, generative features, summarization, and categorization.. - Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of the backend systems that power these intelligent features. - Represent the Mail Intelligence team in technical and project meetings, driving alignment with broader Apple initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications- You have expertise in machine learning and AI integration, particularly in building intelligent features within consumer applications.
Pay & Benefits- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
