Bon Mot in Main Street Cupertino is looking for AM brunch/lunch sous chef or experienced line cook!
We are looking for a full time experienced sous chef or line cook who has a passion for technique and attention to detail. Responsibilities include setting up stations, preparing fresh ingredients, plating and executing during service at a high level.
Knowledge of Korean cuisine, farm-to-fork cuisine, California coastal cuisine, French culinary techniques preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years experience required (line cook). Minimum of 3-5 years experience required (sous chef).
ServSafe certificate required. Manager ServSafe preferred for sous chef applicants.
Must be able to:
--execute cooking techniques and kitchen duties
--make delicious and presentable food consistently
--communicate well with others
--follow executive chef instructions on seasonal menus and platings
--follow guidelines on food safety and physical safety
--ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand on their feet for long periods of time
