TITLE: Program Manager - Mental Health
STATUS: Exempt
SALARY: $78,750 - $84,250 annual depending on licensure and management experience
POSITION SUMMARYUnder the supervision of the Director, the Program Manager will ensure the daily operations of the Wraparound program are being followed, which include working closely with other Managers and Directors, interviewing, hiring, coordinating, and meeting contractual obligations. The Program Manager directly supervises exempt and non-exempt, clinical and non-clinical, staff in SPA 4 and SPA 6 (DTLA and Lynwood, respectively). The Program Manager uses independent judgment and clinical knowledge to support, coach, and empower their teams in providing quality, timely services to all clients, including crisis response.
ABOUT WRAPAROUNDWRAPAROUND supports clients 24/7, offering child-focused, family-centered mental health services based on strength and needs. There are 10 principals to the WRAPAROUND programs: Family Voice and Choice, Team Based, Natural Supports, Collaboration, Community Based, Culturally Competent, Individualized Strength based, Persistence, and Outcome Based.
In addition to the Therapist, our WRAPAROUND teams include Parent Partner, Child and Family Specialist, and Facilitator to create goals. Together we create strategies to support families and track progress.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Education /Background:
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or related field required.
- Licensed in the State of California as LCSW/LMFT/LPCC or Licensed Eligible with BBS registration.
- If licensed eligible, must obtain licensure within first 90-120 days of employment.
- Two (2) years post license experience and able to provide clinical supervision highly preferred.
- CA Driver License required.
- One (1) year supervisory experience preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish Speaking preferred.
- Upon hire, must become Lanterman-Petris-Short (LPS) trained and certified by Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH) within first 90-120 days of employment as a manager.
Other Requirements:
- Knowledge of public mental health system (LACDMH preferred).
- Interest and commitment to working with multiethnic, multicultural, low-income populations.
- Proven interpersonal and supervisory skills.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent documentation and clinical skills.
- Proven ability to follow-up and meet deadlines.
- Excellent initiative, flexibility, and stress-management in handling the demands of leadership.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and delegate in order to balance the many responsibilities, and address the various issues, that a manager faces during the workday.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, especially Microsoft teams).
HYBRID REMOTE
Position is hybrid remote and requires telehealth and in-person appointments in the office. Employee must be willing and available to work in the office and community as required, during office hours. Some positions require field-based services or meeting community partners at their place of business.
