The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for the purchasing process and ensuring the availability of all purchased items to meet the demands of the company.
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
$25.00-$28.00/hour + Benefits!
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Project Managers and Shop Foremen ensuring on-time material and hardware availability to the shops.
• Monitors the inventory levels of door and window hardware orders from plans.
• Orders glass, raw materials, shop, and office supplies.
• Gather information from shop drawings and track and monitor purchases.
• Track orders using QuickBooks and maintain spreadsheets with tabs using Excel.
• Interface with vendors to confirm purchase orders.
• Attend daily meetings with the GM, production team, and Project Coordinators.
• Coordinates resolution efforts when vendor-related issues arise.
• Enforce all purchasing policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
• 1+ years of purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of experience working with QuickBooks Desktop
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills
• Able to work in a fast paced atmosphere managing multiple deadlines
