Job Summary:
- Coordinates, manages, and reviews accounting for income taxes for company financials. Performs quality of review of taxes before submission to external auditors. Prepares tax accounting position papers on GAAP reporting issues. Essential duties and responsibilities, shown below, will vary accordingly based on assignment.
- What you’ll do:
- ·Coordinates, manages, and reviews accounting for income taxes for company financials.
- ·Performs quality review of federal, state, and foreign analyses before submission to external auditors.
- ·Prepares tax accounting position papers on GAAP reporting issues.
- ·Assists in management and review of the preparation and filing of the organization’s consolidated income tax return.
- ·Participates in Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) income tax examinations.
- ·Aids in tax-planning projects; implements tax strategies.
- ·Addresses tax issues with business subsidiaries.
- ·Recruits, develops, and trains tax department personnel.
You should apply if you bring:
- Required Experience:
- Masters in Tax, Juris Doctor, or CPA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years in general corporate income tax and accounting environment.
- Experience in management.
- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong working knowledge of FAS 109 required.
- Ability to lead, manage, and motivate professionals.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact with corporate management daily.
