The Senior Enterprise Imaging Consultant will apply best practice and subject matter expertise to support enterprise imaging consulting projects. This individual will perform analyses of customer Radiology and/or Cardiology workflow, compile data, interpret results and make recommendations to optimize customer’s enterprise imaging workflows. The Analyst will extract or process internal or external data to support client projects through application of internal tools and leverage other internal subject matter experts to provide exceptional customer service to our consulting and staffing customers.
The individual is engaged in utilizing their specialized knowledge of Enterprise Imaging product infrastructure and technology as well as industry standard technical training. They will investigate and diagnose customer complaints and service requests as they arise and as assigned. Enterprise Imaging Consultants are expected to ensure that all documentation is in alignment with regulatory standards and requirements in addition to providing root cause analysis when needed for any disruptions in workflow

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform Change Healthcare PACS activities, Workflow Intelligence support for on demand service in application, and functions as mutually agreed upon by both Change Healthcare and the customer site; including but not limited to, system testing and resolution, date reconciliation at facility sites and/or remotely
- Identify hardware, network and architecture challenges and provide recommendations to Customer regarding changes to the system structure. Any recommendations will be reviewed and approved by the Customer
- Identify and recommend changes in workflow, application configuration, system structure, technical performance and/or policies to support the information system needs of the Customer
- Serve as the primary resource for hands-on Change Healthcare PACS suite of applications to aid in clinical and technical activities/issues/requests
- Consult with Customer and recommend and maintain standardization of workflows and procedures
- Provide guidance to the Customer in the development of best practices that enhance or complement utilization of the PACS and expeditious exam reporting
- Serve as a liaison and subject matter expert to coordinate integration of Change Healthcare PACS, Workflow Intelligence, support for on demand service in application, and to third party systems. Such third-party systems will be mutually agreed on by Change Healthcare and the Customer
- Provide guidance to Customer in the development of technical processes or procedures that complement the utilization of Change Healthcare PACS suite of applications specifically as it pertains to data integration and relevant workflows. All technical processes and procedures will be reviewed and approved by Customer
- Attend Customer department, program, and project meetings where the Resource’s active participation is essential to the meeting; and actively participate as an Enterprise Imaging subject matter expert
- Resources should be available remotely and/or willing to travel to customer locations across North America specifically all boroughs of New York City

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working with Change Healthcare Radiology and or Cardiology PACS diagnosing and troubleshooting software and workflow issues as a PACS Administrator
- 5+ years of experience working with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Solid IT background and experience with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of mission-critical hardware and software systems
- Knowledge of clinical workflow, HL7 and DICOM standards
- Proven solid ability to pay attention to details
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proven excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication presentation skills
- Proven excellent time and resource management skills
- Ability to travel up to 75%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Imaging Informatics Professional ABII(CIIP)
- Registered Diagnostic Imaging Technologist R.T.(R)(ARRT)
- CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
