Seeking a Quality Inspector to work on our machine shop floor. The candidate must have experience inspecting aerospace and/or military products and an understanding of quality standards and specifications, but we provide training on other aspects of the role. Requires keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining quality.

Full-time: Monday - Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm
The approved pay range for this position is $18.00-$25.50 per hour.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products visually and with precision tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Interpret technical specifications and blueprints to verify manufacturing tolerances.
- Identify and document defects, non-conformances, or other quality issues.
- Report inspection results to management.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience with visual and plate inspection techniques.
- Proficient with general inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to understand blueprints, ANSI Y14.5 standards, and True Position.
- Familiar with non-conformance reporting (NCR), basic shop math, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Knowledge of MRP database software and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass a visual acuity exam for near distance and color perception annually.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact in English, both verbally and in writing.
Physical Demands: Work may involve both temperature-controlled office and open warehouse environments, with exposure to temperature variations, noise, vibrations, fumes, and chemicals.
- Repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and bending.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds.
ITAR Requirement: This position requires the use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The candidate must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines U.S. persons as U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (i.e., Green Card holders), and some refugees.
