Now Hiring: Quality Inspector - Machine Shop Join our aerospace manufacturing team as a full-time Quality Inspector on the machine shop floor! We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to help maintain the high-quality standards of our aerospace and military products.
What You'll Do:
- Inspect finished products visually and with precision tools to ensure quality standards are met.
- Interpret technical specifications and blueprints to verify tolerances.
- Identify and document defects or non-conformance.
- Report inspection results to management.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
- Experience inspecting aerospace or military products preferred.
- Knowledge of quality standards, blueprints, and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Familiar with ANSI Y14.5, True Position, and non-conformance reporting (NCR).
- Basic shop math and computer skills (MRP software, Adobe Acrobat).
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass a visual acuity exam for near distance and color perception annually.
- Must be dependable and committed to maintaining quality.
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR (citizens, lawful permanent residents, or certain refugees).
Shifts:
- Full-time: Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm or 6:00am-3:30pm (every other Friday off)
