Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to help us manage product procurement, inventory, and logistics for our growing e-commerce business. This is a remote, work-from-home position with flexible hours. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and skilled in sourcing high-quality products, negotiating with suppliers, and managing the end-to-end supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Procurement: Identify and source products aligned with our niche, ensuring high quality and low cost.
Supplier Relations: Work directly with wholesalers, manufacturers, and chemical suppliers. Ensure suppliers have exceptional customer service to handle any returns or product defects.
Private Label Development: Coordinate with manufacturers and chemical suppliers to create our own unique products, including custom labeling and pesticide registration with state and federal authorities.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels across suppliers, warehouses, and drop shippers to prevent stockouts.
Logistics Management: Oversee third-party logistics partners to ensure smooth product delivery and returns handling.
Cost Optimization: Continuously negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers to secure the best pricing and terms.
Customer Returns: Manage and process customer returns efficiently.
Qualifications:
Experience in product procurement, supplier management, or e-commerce operations.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of product development, including private labeling and regulatory compliance.
Experience with inventory management and third-party logistics (3PL).
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Familiarity with California business practices and regulations is a plus.
Salary Range:
Based on market rates and industry standards, we recommend a salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
