JOB SUMMARYThe Developer III will be a critical team member for the delivery of key customer commitments surrounding Conifer's Revenue Cycle Management and Value- Based Care data sets and support the build out of enterprise information management capabilities across the business.
This position requires the individual to be very logical and have strong coding skills. The developer III will work individually and as a member of a development team to design, develop and maintain customized business application software. He/She is expected to lead small to medium development projects. Developer will be involved in all aspects of the development process, including: design, development, system testing and all other aspects of the software development process. Individual will be expected to further their technical knowledge and knowledge of Conifer products during the workday and in off business hours. Self-motivated, fast learner with a desire to learn new technologies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Others may be assigned.
- If in Product Development group:
- Make enhancements and build applications of any size.
- Design and build small to large size applications with little or no direction or oversight.
- Document application flow.
- Lay out SQL tables, stored procedures, and queries.
- Application code
- Present/Review status and completion with Sr developers, Managers, and business entities.
- Able to translate business requirements/specs into technical requirements and documentation.
- Assist with conversion of legacy code projects.
- Interface with all business entities including upper-level management.
- Debug, read, and support code written by other developers.
- Mentor/advise lower-level developers.
- Contribute by writing applications that drive RCM and Value Based Care products forward.
- If in Data Management group:
- Bl and Reporting Metadata Development / Data Warehouse Development and Integration
- Data Modeling, ETL/BI design

- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer working in an Agile environment, preferably Scrum
- 5+ years of professional experience with Microsoft technologies - C#, .NET (Framework 4.6+ and Core 2.1+)
- 3+ years of professional experience with SQL in a relational database environment
and either
- 5+ years of professional experience with ASP.NET and Entity Framework under .NET Framework or .NET Core
- 3+ years of professional experience with JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- 3+ years of professional experience with web frameworks such as Blazor/WebAssembly, React, Angular, or Bootstrap
- 3+ years of professional experience with unit-test frameworks such as xUnit
- 2+ years of professional experience building and deploying Docker images
- Working knowledge of message bus technologies such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or MSMQ
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Kubernetes management tools, preferably Helm
or
- 5+ years of professional experience creating integrations between systems of medium to high complexity using different technologies such as Inter Systems IRIS for Health/Object Script/Cache, C#, Java, Python, Perl, Flynet, Summit Scripting Tool, and SQL

- Experience in Azure and Azure DevOps is a plus
- Experience in Healthcare or Healthcare IT is a plus
- Experience with HL7 and X12 EDI is a plus
- Experience with a healthcare integration engine like Rhapsody or Mirth a plus

Compensation and Benefit InformationCompensation
- Pay: $77,376-$123,552 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
- Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
