Wilson Elser is currently seeking a Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our Houston office. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with 2-8 years of litigation experience, to grow in their careers with exposure to a wide variety of prominent national clients and by taking on substantial litigation responsibilities. Working directly with in-house counsel, the attorney in this role will have the exciting opportunity to interact directly with sophisticated clients that we represent, as well as with teams of our own talented, experienced professionals.

Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Must be admitted to practice in TX
- 2+ years of defense litigation experience
- Experience in Medical Malpractice preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Legal project management experience is helpful
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a caseload involving medical malpractice claims
- Work closely with other attorneys, team members, and Partners on legal projects
- Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
- Opportunity to handle significant caseload of COVID lawsuits
