Position Overview:
As an Interior Design Associate, you will work closely with our lead designers to support various phases of the design process, from concept to installation. You will play a key role in managing projects, problem-solving design challenges, and ensuring the client’s vision is realized seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
--Assist in the design and development of projects from initial concept through completion. Construction and decorating projects.
--Collaborate with designers to create layouts, renderings, and material boards.
--Utilize Studio Designer ,SketchUp and AutoCAD to produce accurate design plans, layouts, and specifications.
--Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
--Conduct site visits, take measurements, and oversee installations as needed.
--Handle project documentation, including client presentations, budgets, and timelines.
--Actively participate in problem-solving to address project challenges, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
--Coordinate and be active in on site installations of projects.
--Some jobs require out of state travel.
Qualifications:
--Minimum of 2- 3 years of experience in an interior design or related role.
--Proficiency in Studio Designer, SketchUp and AutoCAD is required.
--Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
--Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
--Positive attitude with a team-oriented approach.
--Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
--Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
--Applicant must have their own car as shopping, attending meetings and installations is large part of the job.
