Bryson Sales & Service of Washington is seeking a part-time, on-call CDL driver to join our team at our Pasco location.
Bryson, the Blue Bird school bus dealer for Washington, is a stable, family-owned, small business operating in Washington since 2009. We are a drug-free workplace and an equal opportunity employer.
Our CDL drivers must be available throughout the year to deliver new buses from our shop to school districts or move buses that require service work between our shop and the district. Buses may be electric, gas, diesel or propane and fueling may be required. Deliveries are throughout the state of Washington.
The job is always on an on-call basis and has no guaranteed hours; we try to give at least a day's notice of our need for a driver, more if at all possible, and request a response as quickly as possible so that we can proceed with our scheduling.
Requirements:
• Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements
• Medical certificate
• Clean driving record
• Understanding of, and compliance with, all DOT regulations, e.g., maintain & submit driver logs, perform pre-driving check of bus, submit to random drug testing.
• Understanding of the Washington State driving laws.
• Operate all vehicles in a legal and safe manner.
• Comply with company and insurance requirements.
• Available for a flexible driving schedule
• Reliable
• Able to relate well to co-workers, vendors, and customers, and positively represent our company.
• Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the company Dress Code policy.
Position is part-time, on-call, non-exempt, Mon-Fri. All job offers are contingent upon passing a drug test. This job is a Safety-Sensitive position so the pre-employment drug test will include testing for cannabis (aka marijuana). EOE
