The Department of Radiology is seeking a fellowship-trained body imaging radiologist/physician-scientist to join our team at North Shore University Hospital. The successful candidate will join a team of radiologists to provide subspecialized body imaging services and be actively involved in teaching residents at our ACGME approved diagnostic radiology residency program. Applicants must have an MD or MD/PhD or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, clinical or translational research and clinical care.

Responsibilities include:
- Perform investigative research and/or development work related to imaging services with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Collaborate closely with the research leadership on a portfolio of imaging-based research projects.
- Responsible for the collection, analysis and interpretation of research data related to specific projects.
- Responsible for compliance with federal, state and local regulatory policies.
- Submit manuscripts and abstracts for publication/presentation.
- Encourage academic research activities within the Department. This may include both medical research and bench research.
- Mentors and advises trainees and students in research.
