Job DescriptionBAE Systems is seeking Programs & Policy Officers (PPOs)/Executive Officers (EXOs) to support a client's requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Successful PPO candidates will work in an integrated government-contractor team supporting operations. Responsibilities include supporting a wide range of programmatic activities in an Area of Responsibility (AOR); scheduling and tracking meetings, visits, and other events; and supporting all aspects of office meetings. PPOs will be expected to prioritize tasks and provide timely support to executives/management. PPOs must be flexible, able to coordinate cables; arrange and participate in meetings/events; and be a problem solver. PPOs must think critically and communicate clearly and accurately. Candidates should be comfortable drafting cables and responding professionally to requests for information.
The position requires an active Security Clearance with Polygraph; there is no exception to the clearance requirement. Successful candidates will work well in team environments and also be capable of operating independently with minimal supervision. Candidates will be expected to professionally interact with customer personnel at all levels within the customer organization.
Required Skills and Education- Level 4 requires 12 years of related work experience; Level 5 requires 20 years of related work experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience drafting and coordinating cables
- Polished briefing skills and excellent communication skills
- Active Security Clearance with Polygraph
