Customer Service Associate
A large distribution company in Vernon, CA, is looking for an organized, self-motivated professional with excellent communications skills to work in our California location.
Job Description:
Role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Investigate and resolve customer needs, and communicates them to the sales department as well as the shipping/ receiving department
• Promptly and accurately process multiple phone and inbound email orders
• Maintain customer service standards, policies and procedures for the department
• Communicates and deliver reports concerning orders to Executive Management on a consistent basis
• Process and follow through on 50 plus orders/day
QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 2 years Account Management experience preferred
• Sense of urgency
• Strong data processing skills
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in Customer Service
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow-up on tasks, delegate duties and train subordinates on processes, product, services and company regulations
• Motivational, listening, problem-solving skills, tact and diplomacy when dealing with complex problems with internal departments (sales and procurement) and customers.
• Work effectively under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must be able to work M-F for full 8 hours
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
COMPENSATION:
$ 19.00-22.00 Hourly (based on experience and qualifications)
PHYSICAL SETTING: Office
REMOTE WORK: No
