I'm a WGA screenwriter with multiple movie and episodic credits.
I am writing a psychological thriller feature film whose central character is an air traffic controller.
I have done considerable research -- but find I need the kind of detailed knowledge of air traffic control that probably only an experienced controller would have.
Therefore, I am looking for a current or former ATC to collaborate with me on the script.
We would share "Story by" credit on the screenplay which, if the film is produced, would entitle the ATC to share the 20% fee stipulated by WGA Minimum Basic Agreement,
This is a speculative project so there is no money upfront for either of us -- and of course no guarantee that the screenplay will ever be produced.
But based on my 30 years of experience as a writer-producer, I am convinced the concept is salable. And I have producer contacts I can shop the script to when completed.
Email me if you are interested in exploring further.
Thanks,
Lyle
