Sundhari Spa is new upscale wellness day spa in Berkeley CA. We believe in providing a high quality customer experience from the moment our clients come through the door. We retail an array of organic and results oriented skincare, body care products and health supplements. We offer specialized massage, acupuncture and skincare services while building lasting relationships with our clients in a relaxing and tranquil environment.
(24-32 hours a week- including 2 weekend days) Front Desk Coordinator / Manager to be the first and last point of contact for our clients. This position carries out our image while promoting our services and products in a five-star manner. We are looking for a long term candidate to be a part of our team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide excellent customer service
-Answering Phones during business hours
-Booking appointments accurately, using a spa servicing software
-Understanding and explaining our products and services
-Understand and assist clients with retail choices as necessary.
-Recommend services, enhancements, and therapists tailored to each guest’s specific needs
-Assist team as necessary for a seamless customer experience
-Process check in, check out and all paperwork accurately
-Resolve customer concerns with care
-Attend product trainings
-Data entry accuracy
-Receive and stock inventory, linens etc.
-Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks as necessary
-Assist with inventory management and ordering
-Maintaining spa cleanliness and overseeing overall daily spa appearance.
-Key holder position - (Manager On Duty)
REQUIREMENTS:
*Availability weekends and some during the week.
*Preferred experience in spa, guest service, retail or administration positions.
*Excellent communication, proactive and friendly demeanor
*Developed computer and technical skills, bonus if experience with scheduling systems.
*Experience selling retail products & open to learning about new products.
*Interest or experience with holistic services, organic skincare products and /or
supplements.
*Values and understands the importance of customer service
*Employs active listening skills
*Organized with ability to multi-task & self manage.
*Easily picks up and learns new systems.
*Ability to maintain a polished, traditional professional appearance.
*Fluent in English
*Can work up to 8 hours a day
*Punctual
*Responsible, professional and caring personality a must.
ASSIST WITH MARKETING (optional / a plus):
-Coordinate with marketing team for events
-Assist with taking photos and small videos at events and for special occasions.
**Weekend Availability and during the Holiday Season is a MUST. Closed: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's day, but open most other holidays**
