Onsite opportunity for a highly motivated
Manager - Materials Management to join our team! The Manager - Materials Management professional understands and applies material management principles that enable them to develop solutions to a variety of challenges. This person also is responsible for analyzing material availability in support of contract requirements; communicate factory scheduling and priorities, identifying barriers and solutions to enable the factory to meet takt rate, and takes proactive and appropriate actions to ensure program goals are achieved.
The successful candidate must be able to coordinate activities between numerous groups and clearly communicate program material status and identified risks. The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate within an IPT environment, utilizing strong SAP troubleshooting skills and extensive understanding of Material Requirements Planning in a manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do:- Manager is responsible for Material Planning, Production Control, PFEP, Logistics, Inventory strategy, master scheduling, SIOP, and master data planning
- Support LG MRO business on inventory goals and LRP finance planning
- Creates and executes plan for every part and maintain master data for purchased parts, sub-assemblies, end items and other parts as required.
- Facilitates the capacity management process, including identification and escalation of long-term capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SI&OP.
- Executes continuous management of the demand schedule, including adherence to all required validations using the best information available, to provide long range aftermarket demand visibility in support of financial planning
- Internal and external capacity management, and the overall process.
- Monitors and create the production build schedule and work closely with operation on commitment dates.
- Tracks and manages inter/ interplant work in process (WIP), promise dating, expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and flow.
- Determine data center and drive part shortage resolution.
- Monitors tracking and shipping. Performs escalated expediting when required to ensure on time delivery of material. Mitigates risks for short term shortages with internal suppliers to ensure successful customer deliver
Qualifications You Must Have:- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience working with and analyzing large data set.
- SAP knowledge in sales and operations planning tools scheduling skills.
- Prior experience with leading and supporting the five steps of SIOP: Data collection, demand review, supply review, financial reconciliation, executive SIOP review

Qualifications We Prefer: - 8+ years of applicable experience, specifically in Material planning in a manufacturing environment ideally working for a government contractor
- Experience using Continuous Improvement tools with the ability to analyze and improve processes to reduce cost.
- Program Management experience in an MRO environment
- Quality System processes (NC/MRB/FRB/RCCA)
- Production flow knowledge and experience in scheduling and capacity
- Strong analytical abilities
- APICS Certification

#HotJobThe salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
