Family Medicine Faculty OMT/Out Patient Clinic / Overview
Looking for a AOBFT or ABFM Board Certified physician to be a Part-Time Core Faculty Member for our Family Medicine Residency.
In this position you will need to:
• Demonstrate commitment to the delivery of safe, equitable, high-quality, cost-effective, patient-centered care
• Be able to provide comprehensive outpatient care to all ages from newborn through geriatrics, including routine GYN care, dermatologic and sports medicine procedures.
• Currently trained in OMT or be willing to undergo training to allow for supervision of residents performing OMT
• Adept at working with underserved populations
• Experience in teaching, preferably at the GME level, but can consider other experience
• Will be required to fully participate in residency required committees and activities including:
o-Program Evaluation Committee
o-Clinical Competency Committee
o-Serve as a resident advisor
o-Evaluate and provide formative feedback to residents
o-Provide didactic education
o-Participate in Faculty Development
o-Participate in ACGME Annual Survey
Also split time in Pain Management and handle procedures and case load accordingly.
