The Relationship Manager - Digital Banking is responsible for generating new commercial deposit and treasury management relationships for the bank by leveraging the banks proprietary Application Programming Interface ("API") technology solution. Successful candidates must have strong direct sales skills to acquire new deposit and treasury management clients from industries such as commercial / rental / multi-family property management, homeowner associations, legal/bankruptcy, healthcare, utilities, title/escrow, trust & custody, 1031 Exchange, and/or similar deposit verticals.
Utilizing a systematic sales approach, duties will include customer prospecting, analyzing business needs, and conducting API demonstrations to exhibit how the bank's API and Treasury Management solutions can provide the client with efficiency gains, enhanced reporting, and data security improvements. Requires the ability to cultivate relationships with targeted ERM platforms with the potential to cross-sell to their customer base by leveraging jointly developed embedded API treasury management solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop new banking relationship via cold calling, networking, email, and niche industry event attendance to bring in low cost deposits to the bank
- Must poses the ability to sell complex treasury management services and API banking integrations to both users of niche software systems and the provider of these software systems
- Responsibilities include sharing a deep understanding of industries such as Multifamily Property management, 1031 Exchange, Title and Escrow and similar deposit centric businesses internally, with the ability to earn new client and software vendor relationships.
- Review and understand account analysis, create new business proposals, and create and share complex proforma's to prospective clients
- Ability to travel nationally to develop new business, attend industry events or similar.
- Partners with Treasury Management and the API Application Development team to create new treasury management sales opportunities through a consultative sales approach
- Conduct client needs analysis and develop proposed solutions / sales presentations to develop new business opportunities leveraging the banks unique API and other treasury management and cash management tools
- Coordinate implementation calls to ensure proper service concepts are developed and delivered as proposed to the client and integrated software partner
- Responsible for actively calling on prospective integration partners once a sales opportunity / niche market has been qualified as a solid deposit rich vertical and selling them on fully integrating to the bank's API technology
- Manage new clients brought to the bank to ensure services levels are maintained and customer is satisfied.
- Continue to develop existing client relationships and provide consultative training to ensure an understanding of the Bank's product offerings and communicate product changes
- Upsell new products and service with the goal to increase price times volume revenue.
QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum of 5+ years of treasury management and commercial deposit related experience required.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Certified Cash Manager (CCM), Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) designation preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED- Must have strong client interaction skills and has demonstrated the ability to influence the outcome of the sales process.

- Requires the aptitude for powerful presentations and negotiation skills with internal and external clients.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Basic proficiency in PC software (MS office).

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary or pay for this position is $82,898 to $138,162. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. A business line incentive may be provided ranging from 0% - 1% per loan and 0%-2% per deposit, in addition to a medical and other benefits, dependent on the position.
