THE OPPORTUNITYThe AVP, Software Release Program Manager will oversee the release process for our internally developed software and application updates. The Release Manager will coordinate various teams, track progress, manage risks and resolve conflicts to ensure successful product releases. The ideal candidate is familiar with project management principles, is an expert at problem-solving, and has a strong understanding of software development cycles. Ultimately, the role of the Release Manager is to ensure that our software and applications are delivered to customers with high quality and on schedule. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE- Coordinating with software development, IT Operation teams, and other departments to ensure successful releases of application code.
- Implementing and managing release processes for code through test and production environments.
- Negotiating, planning, communicating and managing all release activities.
- Continually working towards making improvements in the release process.
- Assess risks related to releases, developing contingency plans to handle potential issues.
- Working with release engineers and developers to understand application pipelines and processes.
- Maintaining release repositories and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
- Producing deployment run books and implementation plans.

- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING- 4+ years of experience in release and change management is required
- Experience with project management software is required
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or technology related field or an additional 4 years of relevant IT work experience is required
- Proven work experience as a Release Manager or similar role in project management.
- Strong understanding of project management software.
- Excellent knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and operational processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

SALARY RANGEThe base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
