We’re a relatively new flooring and design store that just moved to Meridian. We'll be fully open for business within 1-2 weeks.
We are looking for a skilled retail / inside sales associate to jump on board with us and hit the ground running.
We’re interested in working with someone who is experienced in flooring sales in particular, but who is also comfortable generating business through relationship building with local contractors and other businesses in the Boise area. Ideally, you’ll have at least 12 months of experience in flooring and are already familiar with all types of flooring.
Although experience with flooring sales is preferred, we DO NOT currently have strictly set hiring criteria. This is because we hire the BEST CANDIDATE regardless of education level, age, experience, etc…
A very driven sales associate could have less experience and still out-perform everyone. So, if you think you could be good for this job, please apply!
As a smaller business, you’ll have the flexibility to help bring in new business while making generous commissions as well as a competitive salary, and the opportunity to receive healthcare benefits starting after 90 days.
Commission rates are based on margins you generate rather than just the total sales volume, so that lower-priced flooring can still generate equal commission.
We like moving product and making customers happy. Over 70% of all store visitors end up making a purchase and/or getting flooring installed. This rate is more than DOUBLE the industry standard.
You’ll have the flexibility to make deals that most other stores would not allow you to make.
We can price match just about any other stores’ pricing for any product we currently sell, so you won't be undercut.
We also offer commissions on INSTALLS completed by our partnered installation contractors that also have very competitive install rates, so each customer that comes through the door can provide more than one opportunity to make a significant commission.
One note regarding our hiring expectations: We are hoping to bring someone onboard that is able to work effectively without much supervision or training, and who can potentially move into a manager position over any additional retail associates brought in through the next few months.
