The Opportunity:
CACI's Agile Digital Solutions Group is seeking a Software Developer who will be a part of the National Aeronau Space Administration's (NASA) Consolidated Applications and Platform Services (NCAPS)
• NCAPS is a consolidation of current applications to standardize NASA's IT systems and applications to include general IT, customer support, information management, mission support systems
• NCAPS software developers will be part of a large-scale transformation effort to migrate the enterprise into a SAFe delivery model and becoming one of the flagship Agile programs within CACI and the government.
Responsibilities:
• Applies comprehensive knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments
• Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software.Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications
• Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
• Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements
• Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
• Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team
• Participates in development of software user manuals.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelors's degree (will consider experience in lieu of degree)
• 8 or more years of experience as a software developer
• 5 or more years of experience with Java (C#, Python, or similar Object-Oriented languages)
• Experience driving technical decisions, including the ability to break down problems, identify solutions, and communicate the process and conclusions to an engineering team
• Experience with front-end/UI design
• Must be willing and able to obtain a NASA Public Trust Clearance (US Citizenship required
Desired:
• GUI development experience with Java Swing, JavaFX, RESTful API design (JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or ReactJS)
• Experience with NASA World Wind Java, ATAK, Cesium, Protocol Buffers, Avro, OpenGL/OpenCL, and/or CUDA
• Passion for developing customer-focused solutions
• SAFe certification
• Passionate about front-end/UI software engineering
• Full stack experience

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100-$172,400
