Guy Plumbing and Heating, a third-generation owned and operated business since 1948, is seeking a part-time Office Assistant to work in our office in Menlo Park, CA. You will join an established team of showroom sales specialists, expert plumbing service and repair technicians, and administrative professionals that provide high-quality plumbing and repair services to the local community. We are seeking the right person to help us with general office tasks and data entry.
What you will do:
• Invoice and cash receipt entries.
• Process credit card payments.
• Update customer accounts.
• Help with phones, direct calls, and place customers on hold.
• Filing, copying, and mailing.
• Daily walks to the local Post Office and bank.
• Flexible schedule, working 4-6 hours per day.
What we are looking for:
• General computing proficiency.
• Typing expectation is 25 to 30 wpm.
• Experience with MS Office suite.
• Experience with QuickBooks a plus.
• Proven capability to work with as a team with colleagues.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, ability to multi-task, and a desire to learn.
