Little Acorns Grow is currently accepting applications for an Infant teacher, Toddler Teacher, and Preschool teacher. You will join a passionate team that truly cares for one another and strives to meet the highest standards of care and early education. The teacher will be responsible for providing a nurturing and safe setting for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This position will develop and implement age-appropriate programs and activities, provide guidance to support the children's physical, mental, and emotional development, and create a positive learning environment.
Teacher Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide an environment that is safe, positive, nurturing, and respectful of the children
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
• Observe and assess the development of the children
• Develop and implement behavior management strategies
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences
• Maintain proper records, including documenting observations and milestones
• Ensure all safety regulations are followed
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Model appropriate behaviors for children
• Relate effectively with children and families in relation to cultural, social, and economic background.
• Work with a team of teachers to ensure a cohesive and quality learning environment
Qualifications:
• Three (3) Units in Infant and Toddler Education - for Infant and Toddler teacher
• Twelve (12) Units in Early Childhood Education
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related field
• Possess a teamwork mindset, strong communication skills, organization skills and problem-solving ability
• Ability to build rapport with children, families and peers
