Job DetailsUnder the direction of the Director of Decision Support, the Decision Support Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and update of the Transition Systems (AIIscripts) inventory so that accurate and timely information will be available for management decision making.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:- Contributes to and consistently applies CHS Services' policies, procedures and benefits to all customers and/or employees by effectively working with all customers and CHS personnel without discrimination.
- Responsible for the standard monthly processing and audit validation of financial and clinical data from host systems into the Strata Decision Support system.
- Provides cost and statistical data reporting as needed by Hospital management for decision making from the Strata Decision Support system on a timely basis.
- Performs system maintenance such as; updating RVUs, adding new cost centers, accounts, job codes, etc.
- Supports the installation of new entities on the Strata Decision Support system.
- Provides accurate cost data for managed care contract negotiations.
- Assists in the preparation of feasibility studies using cost and statistical data from the Decision Support System.
- Reviews hospital cost structure in relation to charges for potential maximization of third party reimbursements.
- Conducts himself I herself in conformity with all Compliance Assurance Standards and maintains a supportive attitude toward the mission & goals of Catholic Health Services.
- Performs related duties as assigned and unrelated duties as requested
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting preferred.
- Requires 2-3 years of analytical work experience. Health Care experience preferred.
- Must be Proficient in PC databases, Excel, Strata Cost Accounting allocations of general ledger and payroll system to charge code revenue, Strata Cost configurations, and Strata costing reports.
- Understanding of basic data base administration with an understanding of interface logic.
- Excellent customer service, communication skills, presentation skills, interpersonal skills and analytical.
- Preferred 2-3 years preferred of experience with the decision support application - Strata Costing
Posted Salary RangeUSD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
