***HIRING DRY VAN COMPANY DRIVER***
***This is an OTR position***
I am hiring an experienced driver as a Class A OTR company driver. You will get paid weekly. I will keep you away from the most troubled areas such as the Northeast. Loads will be dispatch
Truck is located in Mira Loma, CA
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Driver must have 5 years or more of verifiable experience in tractor trailer driving. No exceptions
- Driver must be calm and professional at all times. If there is a problem report it and take pictures if necessary. Failure to do so will result a disciplinary and interviewed by the employer.
- Tanker endorsement required. No HAZMAT needed!
- Driver must be professional and drive safely. Distracted driving will result in immediate termination
- Driver must wear proper attire when servicing customers.
- Driver MUST be on time to set appointments unless there is an open window
- Driver MUST be proficient in driving a 10-speed manual transmission and soon a 13-speed transmission AND floating gears. NO "Restriction E" on your CDL. There will be a driving test.
- Driver must maintain the equipment to the best of your ability. If there is an issue, report it
- MVR must be clean! Any violations will result in a disqualifications
- Driver will sometimes perform driver load/unload. I will make sure the shipper or receiver provide the essentials such as a manual or electric pallet jack
- Driver MUST read, write, speak, and understand English as mandatory by federal government along with following and interpreting road signs. No exceptions
- Driver MUST abide all state and federal laws
- Driver MUST follow HOS laws
- Driver MUST keep the HOS clean with proper annotations, minimal to no corrections, and not exceed HOS
- ABSOLUTELY no drugs, alcohol, CBD, THC during the responsibility of the truck except home time.
-Cigarettes, cigars, and vapes okay but there will be a $150 deposit (refundable if truck kept clean upon resignation)
- Driver MUST be able to perform Pre-trips (logged), inter-trips (when stepping away and returning to your assigned truck), and post-trips (logged)
- Driver must have the ability to drive up to 3300 miles weekly and stay out for 3 weeks. MUST REQUEST HOME TIME in advance, 1 week in advance preferred
-ALSO must be able to stay out for 3 months for entertainment tours (band, comedian, etc.) *increased pay*
-Most importantly RESPECT the performer and their crew.
- Bringing a passenger MUST be approved by me and waived by insurance. No exceptions.
EQUIPMENT:
- Driver will be driving a 2017 Freightliner Cascadia. It is a 10 speed manual transmission equipped with bunk heater and fridge but no APU. The truck has 2 bunks. Truck has a forward facing dashcam. If there are violations during employment, then I will replace it with double facing camera. Please don't make me do that. I have a CB radio and antenna installed on the truck. New mattress upon new hire. Truck has 799k miles. Newer truck soon for the company driver. Please don't make operational cost high.
Compensation:
- WEEKLY PAY upon completing the last load of the week. Weekend loads gets carried over to the following week
- 16% gross load pay. $100 bonus for driver assisted load, shipper/receiver or both (only if customer requested)
- Entertainment load is negotiable depending on tour rates
- 3 month probationary period. After completion there will be a 1% increase in pay plus benefits
HOME TIME:
- 2 completed weeks out, 3 days home
- 3 completed weeks out, 7 days home
- Driver option to stay out longer for loadboard loads. Just let me know

HIRING PROCESS:
There will be 2-3 part interview between myself and the business partner owner to check your qualifications. Drug test, clearinghouse, and insurance clearance is a must pass to be hired.
