Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Performance Improvement is responsible for directing and monitoring the facility-wide quality management assessment and quality performance improvement program, ensuring the facility programs are in compliance with all regulatory agencies to include: TJC, AHCCCS, other and State & Federal agencies.This Director provides a broad vision in the continuous development and direction of quality management and improvement programs, while providing consulation to all staff members on the concepts of Total Quality Management. They will work with senior staff and directors in the development of department programs and quality measures.
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree from an accredited college or university in nursing, social work or related behavioral health field preferred.
- 4+ years' experience in quality management/improving organizational performance within an acute psychiatric treatment setting.
- Strong knowledge of TJC, AHCCCS, HCFA, OSHA and Patient Rights standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
- Knowledge of quality management and performance improvement techniques, principles and practices.
- Effective communication and analytical interpretation skills.
