Capital Health is seeking a Rheumatologist
Qualifications:
- MD/DO Degree
- NJ & PA licenses
- Board certified/eligible in Rheumatology
- 3+ years of specialty training from an accredited rheumatology program
- 3+ yrs. of experience practicing as a Rheumatologist preferred
Overview
- Examine and diagnose patients with arthritis, joint pain and other musculoskeletal disorders
- Prescribe and administer medications, physical therapy and other treatments
- Perform joint injections, such as corticosteroid and viscosupplementation injections
- Order and interpret laboratory and imaging tests
- Provide education to patients and families regarding disease management
- Communicate with other healthcare providers to coordinate quality patient care
- Keep accurate patient medical records; completing all necessary documentation to allow for timely and efficient billing and claim submittal
- Participates in on-call schedule in a responsive and timely manner
