Who You Are:

You are competitive, have a strong work ethic, a desire to learn and a positive attitude. The expertise you will bring includes:

Create, build, and nurture an active client list consistent with the company’s prime demographic
Conduct business development activities independently and as assigned by management
Meet and exceed annual sales goals and objectives
Create marketing and selling campaigns and emails within Salesforce
Assist walk-in clients and conduct store tours as requested when in gallery
Research and thoroughly understand the key selling points for each inventory item
Initiate and close sales in a timely, effective fashion
Assist in locating and sourcing new and out-of-stock inventory
Coordinate all shipping instructions with client to ensure proper delivery and setup
Set up and break down displays when at shows
Update and maintain client and inventory databases

Preference towards candidates who have local connections and a decent book of business related to selling Fine Art, Antiques and/or Jewelry.

Other skills you will bring to M.S. Rau:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience in a high-end clientele environment
Being professional, open, approachable, and knowledgeable to clients and staff
Being enthusiastic, optimistic, and motivated on a daily basis
Travel required several times a year to clients’ homes as well as antique/fine art shows
Travel required to the gallery in New Orleans for training , etc.

Compensation and Hours

Compensation is earned through a combination of base+ commission and a generous annual bonus plan. Remote Sales Consultants will be expected to work a minimum 40 hours/5 days a week.
