Job Title: Outreach & Distribution Coordinator (Fluent in Arabic) – Remote, Contract

Rate: $30/hr

Hours: 20 - 30 hrs/week

Brave New Films is seeking a highly motivated Outreach & Distribution Coordinator with fluent Arabic proficiency and a strong understanding of the war in Gaza to support the impact campaign for our latest short documentary on the killing of Palestinian journalists in Gaza. This is a short-term, contract-based, remote position requiring excellent communication skills, experience in outreach and organizing, and a passion for justice and human rights.

Key Responsibilities:

Organizational Partnerships & Distribution
Conduct outreach to partner organizations, activists, and advocacy groups to facilitate the distribution and sharing of the film and related social media content.
Film Screenings
Organize and coordinate screening events and panels in the U.S., Gaza, and Israel, securing venues, partnerships, and virtual screening opportunities.
Festival Submissions
Research and submit the film to relevant documentary and human rights film festivals.
Celebrity & Influencer Engagement
Identify and reach out to public figures, activists, and influencers speaking out on Gaza to encourage them to share the film and related video content on social media.
Social Media Collaboration
Work with Brave New Films' digital team to amplify the film’s reach through social platforms and online networks.

Requirements:

✔ Fluent in Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking)

✔ Deep knowledge of the war in Gaza and its broader geopolitical and humanitarian context

✔ Experience in outreach, advocacy, community organizing, or film distribution

✔ Strong networking and relationship-building skills

✔ Familiarity with social media platforms and influencer engagement strategies

✔ Self-motivated and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment — this is not just a 9 to 5 job
