Commercial Truck Driver Class A with Trailer Endorsements
Job Description
At South Bay Materials, we are looking for CDL Class A driver that can operate an Transfer Truck to complete yard stock and jobsite deliveries of bulk construction materials. Daily inspection reports for vehicle maintenance meeting federal and state regulation are also required for each vehicle driven. Reporting damage or any incidents to a supervisor is imperative. This is a full time position. Mon-Fri work with 35-60 hours weekly. This position requires previous experience operating a Transfer. Please do not contact if you have not operated a Transfer Truck before.
Responsibility:
• Safe operation of company delivery trucks
• Respond to inquiries in a timely, accurate, and appropriate manner
• Help maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Perform vehicle safety inspections
• Meet & Complete all regulatory safety requirements
• All other duties assigned
Required Skills, Key Skills, and Abilities include:

• Willing to work extended hours during peak season
Key personal attributes:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• valid driver’s license with Class A CDL with Trailer Endorsements
• minimum of 5 years commercial driving experience
• Minimum of 3 years of operating Transfer and towing trailers
• Familiarity of local Bay Area and knowledge of loading and unloading within jobsite and quarries
• Requires excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and fellow co-worker
