Position Type: [Full-Time/Part-Time] Bartender
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to guests, craft cocktails, and ensure a clean and inviting bar environment. As a Bartender, you will play a key role in creating a memorable experience for our patrons through excellent customer service, a passion for mixology, and an upbeat attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a professional and efficient manner.
• Take drink orders and provide menu recommendations when necessary.
• Create a positive and engaging atmosphere for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glasses, utensils, and maintaining inventory.
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service, following all laws and company policies.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Engage with customers to build relationships, address concerns, and provide exceptional service.
• Assist with opening and closing bar duties, including restocking and preparing the bar for the next shift.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new drink recipes.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and all other relevant policies.
Qualifications:
• Previous bartending experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
• Must be of legal drinking age (varies by location).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (such as kegs or boxes).
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
